Took my daughter to the store to pickup a moss ball, plant, and a female companion for her Betta Fish. You know its always fun to browse through a pet shop. Today we got stuck in front of some mixed Maltese/Shih Tsu puppies who were compelled to wrestle each other down to the mat. Very playful, whoever gets these will have their hands full. The shop also had miniature pincher/chihuahua mixes available, but we couldn’t keep ourselves from watching the wrestling match.
When we turned around we were surprised to see some amazingly colorful and odd Salamanders called, Axolotls. I’ve seen these once in a while, but they were normally dull, and not eye catching. But today the shop had a half a wall full of these exotic pets. I have to say its an interesting display, I recommend stopping by if your looking for a show piece. This Axolotls is something else, I’ll have to research it and add it to my Petpedia.
Another fun pet I saw today, ducklings. Go visit, it’s worth it.

Windward Mall (235-6477)

If you haven’t figured it out yet, this is one of my favorite pet shops. One of the best in variety of live stock plus supplies. On my latest visit I noticed more aquariums supplies for the Freshwater/Saltwater enthusiast with the small to medium size aquariums on sale. This plus a nice selection of assorted cichlids leads to a good opportunity for those waiting to start their aquarium.
As always, a good selection of birds and small animals. Today they had a pair of diamond silver doves available along with their always full stock of parakeets, cockatiels, parrots, conures, finches, and canaries. Kittens were also available, as were guinea pigs and bunnies.
Puppies available a Shih Tzu, Fox Terriers, and a pot-bellied pig.
Always worth a visit.

Windward Mall (235-6477)

Visited Windward Mall and of course I had to stop by the pet shop where I was greeted by that Pot-Bellied pig on display… hmmm no one wants pork?? Just kidding, or maybe nobody wants to chance going over the Pali with’em.
All kidding aside, it looked like they got a shipment of live stock in. The shop was full as ever and the bird displays, absolutely the best of all the shops I’ve visited so far. Canaries, Parakeets, Conures, Parrots, Finches, Lovebirds, Emerald Pidgeons, Cockatiels, and a full line of consumer bird cages to boot. Complete kits if your interested. (Hint)
Today they also had Bunnies, Guinea Pigs, mix Lab/Pitbull puppies, mixed Shih Tzu/Silky Terrier puppies, and Chihuahua’s. I still haven’t mentioned the leapord frog, turtles, Jackson Chameleons, good selection of freshwater fish, and saltwater fish. Its worth mentioning that the betta fish were on sale for Valentine’s day at the cheapest price I’ve seen.
