Temperment: Good community fish. May harass and nip smaller fish.

The Red Phantom has a transparent red body with the intensity depending on diet and activity. The Red Phantom prefers lots of plants, driftwood and rocks. Schools of 6 or more are a real eye catcher in the aquarium as they will swim around all areas of the aquarium in intricate displays. Feeding should consist of food flakes, brine shrimp, and freeze-dried bloodworms or live bloodworms, as alway variety is the key. Again, these tetra are fine in a community situation, although smaller fish may become the target of relentless harassment and fin nipping. They tend do best in a tank with other similar sized and active fish
